EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Custom Chrome®, a world leader in the wholesale distribution of aftermarket parts and accessories for Harley Davidson motorcycles, has an immediate position available for an Executive Administrative Assistant at our corporate office located in Morgan Hill, California.

The Executive Administrative Assistant at Custom Chrome must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Trade show management and calendaring experience is preferred. Self motivation and sound decision-making skills are essential in this role.

Duties and responsibilities include the following:


  • Assisting with calendar management for the Executive team, including coordinating meetings.
  • Trade show coordinator: manage contract submission, calendaring events, travel arrangement, work with team to ensure product is shipped on time & meet critical deadlines.
  • Organizes programs, events, meetings or conferences by arranging facilities and caterers, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers and controlling event budget.
  • Maintains and publishes corporate calendar.
  • Performs confidential administrative functions: prepares agendas, notices, attend Executive team meetings, and prepares minutes for corporate meetings.
  • Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files.
  • Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings.
  • Prepares the CEO’s and Executives’ weekly expense reports.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and research matters.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Competencies:
  • 3- 5+ years experience as a high level Executive Assistant
  • A strong administrative support professional who can partner effectively with multiple Executives and maintains a high level of professional competence.
  • High energy, positive, outgoing person with the ability to interact with a team of professionals.
  • A person of superior integrity with the maturity and discretion to be able to handle and process highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to anticipate, prioritize and juggle a variety of tasks with attention to details.

    Three to four years experience at the Executive supporting level is strongly desired.

    Extensive MS Office software skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) are required.

    ROAD REP

    Custom Chrome®, a world leader in the distribution of V-twin products, is looking for qualified and experienced Road Representative applicants to fill key positions in the following locations: Southern California, Florida, South Texas, The Greater Chicago-land area, (to include portions of Wisconsin and Minnesota), Missouri, Mid-Atlantic area, (Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland), Pacific Northwest region, (Washington and Oregon), New York State, North and South Carolina and the Las Vegas and Arizona territories.

    Position Title: Road Sales Representative
    FLSA Status: Exempt, Commission
    Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Specified Regional Sales Manager

    Job Objective:

    Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory achieved by customer interactions and dealer visits. Develops and implements agreed upon Sales and Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. Works as the liason between all functional departments such as credit, finance and customer service as the face of Custom Chrome when called upon. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals that are in line with company vision and values.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Assists resellers with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
  • Becomes actively involved in a new resellers sales orientation and sales training programs. Adds as a resource to resellers in contract opportunities, proposals and proformas. Assists resellers with contract negotiations, closing the sale and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
  • Assists with the planning of sales exhibits. Attends trade shows. Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs. Coordinates and assists in leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparation.
  • Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers. Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining resellers and assisting resellers in attaining new accounts.
    Other Duties:
  • Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided. Answers questions from resellers and handles complaints.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    At least three years of field sales experience, demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.

    INSIDE SALES REP

    Custom Chrome®, a world leader in the wholesale distribution of aftermarket parts and accessories for Harley Davidson motorcycles, has an immediate position available for an Inside Sales Representative at our corporate office located in Morgan Hill, California.

    Duties include:

  • Make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products.

  • Handle inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.

  • Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers.

  • Provide product demos to qualified customers on request.

  • Quote prices and credit terms and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.

  • Estimate date-of-delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules.

  • Build and maintain customer relationships.

  • Prepare reports of business transactions.

  • Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.

  • Work with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up-to-date.

  • May be required to travel and attend trade shows.

    ** This position will also work closely with our Dealer Development Department and assist in the set-up of new customers for Custom Chrome, Inc.

    Requirements:

    This will be an hourly plus commission position.
    Good computer skills and organizational skills are a must.
    Motorcycle knowledge is required.
    Pro-active sales calls of at least 15 hours a week is required.
    Ability to follow instruction is a MUST.
