Purchasing Clerk is responsible to initiate, generate, and expedite purchase orders with suppliers and helps to maintain and develop relations between Custom Chrome USA LLC and suppliers.Job Functions:
E-mail/Fax vendors required purchase orders.Reconciling of open purchase orders.
Negotiating with vendors on costs, lead times, warranty, and service support policies and practices.
Communicates with vendors to ensure that purchase orders are received, are being processed in a timely manner, and are expedited when necessary.
Resolve discrepancies in product deliveries and quality.
Maintain company records regarding vendor/product specifications and promotional literature, pricing, warranty, and service support policies and practices, along with new product offerings.
Works in a team atmosphere with sales, accounting, and warehousing.
Helps to schedule vendor visits
Travels domestically and internationally to meet vendors
Must be flexible with time in order to accommodate international vendors and business.
Requirements:
High school diploma requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook E-mail required.
Ability and willingness to learn required.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written required.
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment required.
Motorcycle industry experience required
1-3 Year experience required
Ability to speak one of the following languages is preferred: Chinese, Japanese, German, Korean
Ability to multitask is required
