On August 5th-14th, the 82nd City Of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally takes place in Sturgis, South Dakota, USA. Motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country and the world ride their bikes to participate in this annual event. Although the temperatures can climb in to the 100’s, this does not detour riders from all over, to participate in this annual event. Visitors look forward to attending this annual rally, which enables them to meet up with cycling friends, ride through the city, attend the many festivities at the rally and experience a day trip through the Black Hills of South Dakota.
During the 10 day rally, visitors can show their enthusiasm for their bikes as well as fully immerse themselves in the motorcycle culture. When you first ride into Main Street, you will see the Welcome to the 82nd City of Sturgis Rally banner. After that you will see each sponsor banner that showcases their brand showing their brand slogan, giving the visitor’s a snapshot of their brand awareness. Find a parking spot for your bike and you will see plenty of vendors set up in their colorful tents selling their latest products to outfit your bike as well as plenty of Sturgis apparel. Visitors are warmly greeted by representative at the booths to introduce their products. Not far from the vendor booths, you will find many different types of cuisines from all over the world. Visitors can enjoy many food choices and enjoy a cold refreshment at one of the many bars, restaurants and food booths throughout the rally.
If you would like to take a ride into nature, take a road trip out to the scenic Black Hills Of South Dakota. This is where you will find the iconic Mount Rushmore and the historical town of Deadwood for a ride back into history. Take a ride with a group or head out solo. On this ride you can enjoy the wonderful scenery of the mountains and forests on these peaceful winding mountain roads.
Once you return to the rally from your ride, you can enjoy the exciting motorcycle races as well the many free concerts and entertainment that is offered all over the rally. When the night falls and lights are on, you could walk into a local bar, order a glass of wine or a cold beer and enjoy all of the exciting nightlife that the Rally has to offer. There is so much entertainment waiting for you, such as a Salute to the Military, Golf Tournaments, Poker Runs, Tattoo Contests, Beard Contests and so on.
